This Privacy Policy covers what Camsake ("Camsake," "Camsake Platform," "we," "us" or "our") does with the Personal Information (as defined herein) that you share with us and the data we collect when you are accessing our Platform and/or our Service. Personal Information about our users is an integral part of our business, so please read our Privacy Policy carefully. By using or accessing our Platform or our Service, you agree to the privacy policies outlined below. Capitalized terms not defined in this Privacy Policy have the meanings provided in our Terms of Service.
This Privacy Policy covers Camsake's treatment of Personal Information that we collect while you are using the Platform and the Service. This policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that Camsake does not own or control, including but not limited to third-party services you access through Camsake, the Platform or the Service, or to individuals that Camsake does not employ or manage. As our Service integrates with third-party sites and social networks, we assume that you are already aware of the privacy policies of those other sites and networks when using our Platform and/or our Service and when you allow us to interact with these sites and networks on your behalf.
The key functionality of Camsake is to provide a platform designed to pair individuals ("Users") together, based on compatibility and other factors, and to enable individuals to chat and communicate online through various media including text, video, and picture sharing and linking and accessing third-party social network platforms (collectively, the "Service").
Global Availability: Camsake provides its services to all countries and regions globally.
By visiting and interacting with Camsake, its Platform and/or its Service, you provide us with three types of information: Personally Identifiable Information; User Contributed Content; and Automatic Information. Personally Identifiable Information, User Contributed Content, and Automatic Information are collectively referred to herein as "Personal Information". You warrant that the information you provide to us is accurate and current and corresponds to your identity and you have the right to post it. All the requested data in the forms on the Platform that do not appear as optional are mandatory for the purpose of managing effectively the relationship with Camsake.
By visiting and interacting with Camsake, its Platform and/or its Service, you provide us with Personal Information which may include, but is not limited to, the following:
We collect information about which services you've used and how you've used them (e.g., filter usage).
Camsake may automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address and cookie information. This traffic data helps diagnose server problems and analyze trends. We use this data in aggregate form to improve the Platform without identifying you personally.
WE DO NOT SELL ANY PERSONAL DATA TO THIRD PARTIES. Protecting user privacy is a top priority. We process information to enforce security measures, combat malware, and verify identity. Access is restricted to employees, contractors, and agents who need the info to operate and optimize the service. We use password protection, access logs, and system monitoring. Due to the nature of the internet, we do not guarantee absolute protection against loss or misuse.
We retain personal information until it is no longer necessary to provide services or until your account is deleted. We may retain data for legal compliance, dispute resolution, and agreement enforcement.
Third Parties: You agree that your User Contributed Content and profile data associated with Camsake may be made available to other users. We urge you to think carefully before including private information in public content.
Publicly Available Information: Public profile info (username, photo) is available to the general public. We are not responsible for protecting information you voluntarily disclose to third parties (e.g., sending your phone number to a stranger).
We limit the sharing of Personally Identifiable Information. We will not share information except:
As a global service, your information may be stored and processed on servers outside of your home country. We comply with relevant applicable laws and take security measures (such as standard contractual clauses) to protect your data during these transfers.
Camsake does not direct the Platform at children under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly permit individuals under 18 on the Platform. We ask for age verification during sign-up. If we inadvertently collect data from a minor, we will make every commercially reasonable effort to delete it immediately. If you suspect a user is under 18, please report them.
Access & Updates: You can update your account info in the app's Settings. We may verify your identity before granting access.
Revoking Permissions: You can revoke consent for camera, photos, or location in your device settings, though functionality may decrease.
Account Deletion: Account deletion is accessible within the app. Upon request, your account is disabled for 30 days (during which you can cancel the request). After 30 days, we use commercially reasonable efforts to remove your data, though some info may remain in backups for legal retention obligations.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. You should regularly check the Platform for the current version.
